What personal information do I collect from the people that visit my blog or website or enter my giveaways?
When signing up for my newsletter or entering one of my giveaways, as appropriate, you may be asked to provide your name and email address or other details (such as mailing address, if you’ve won a prize during one of my giveaways that must be mailed to you).
When do I collect information?
I collect information from you when you subscribe to my author newsletter or enter one of my giveaways.
How long do I keep the information?
The information is kept until the subscriber unsubscribes from my newsletter. Then the data is removed from my list so that the subscriber will no longer receive the newsletter or any email correspondence from me. The subscriber may request that his/her information be purged permanently from the third-party servers via email.
How do I use your information?
I may use the information I collect from you when you sign up for my author newsletter, respond to a survey or enter a giveaway in the following ways:
~ To send periodic emails for my newsletter once you subscribe and agree to receive these emails. You may opt out of receiving these emails at any time by hitting the “unsubscribe” button provided in any of these emails.
~ To send an email once if you have won a prize during one of my giveaways to collect certain information needed to send the prize (such as a mailing address or a preference for an ebook format). Once the information is given and used to send the prize, it goes no further – it is purged from my records and never used for anything else.
How do I protect your information?
I only provide information on my website and giveaway links. I never ask for credit card numbers or other payment information. Buy links for my books direct you to the place where you can buy the book (such as Amazon or Apple iBooks) and the information remains with them.
I use Malware Scanning regularly.
Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.
I do not sell or trade to outside parties your Personally Identifiable Information. EVER!!!
I do use MailerLite to manage my email marketing subscriber list and send emails to my subscribers. MailerLite is a third-party provider, which may process your data using industry standard technologies to help me monitor and improve my newsletter.
You can unsubscribe from my newsletter at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link provided at the end of each newsletter.
